Being a teacher allows me to interact with people for the most part of my day. Relating, encouraging and supporting people are my strengths as a person - I am privileged to get to use these strengths in my occupation.
I enjoy making scientific concepts accessible to young people by applying what I have learnt from my research background. I like the challenge of finding ways for everyone in the class to understand content - as a result my pedagogy is developing towards facilitating a differentiated classroom. |
